Special Session on "Computing and the Arts"

The afternoon of the 30th October, HaPoC 2013 will take place at Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs (ENSAD, rue d'Ulm 31), few steps away from the Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS, rue d'Ulm 45).

This afternoon will feature a lecture by Margit Rosen (ZKM Karlsruhe, Germany) on "A Technological Difference, Not a Difference Of Method. On the Notion of Programming in the Arts of the 1960s".

From 17h45 to 18h45 there will be a talk with some demos by Moreno Andreata, Gérard Assayag et Jean-Louis Giavitto presenting work from the "Sciences et Technologies de la Musique et du Son" research group.

From 19h to 22h there will be an exhibition and performance "The Great C" by the EnsadLab under the direction of Antoine Schmitt and Jean-Jacques Birgé.
